These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things...

No matter if I am doing makeup for a wedding, a photo shoot, an event, a fashion show, a music video, ANYTHING... the number one question people ask me are my favorite products? What mascara do you use? Whats the BEST foundation? What do YOU use? Well I have a lot of favorites, so the answers to these questions are endless. HOWEVER, if you were to peek inside of my PERSONAL makeup bag at the moment.. this is what you would find... So without further a-due, these are my favorite makeup products of the moment.

LIPS

I have had the exact same favorite lip stick since I was hmm maybe 10? Whenever you see me this will always be in my pocket... ALWAYS. In my eyes this is the perfect sexy nude.

MAC LIP STICK
COLOR: MYTH

MAC LIPSTICK
COLOR: MILE

Now some of you may not see a difference in this color from the previous one, but to me it has a big difference. This was a limited addition color that I only bought one of ... Im kicking myself for it. Its a nude with a 10% more hint of pink.

MAC LIPSTICK
COLOR: PINK NOUVEAU

This color is my summer go-to. I love it for date nights and nights out with my girls. It adds and extra little kick to my summer looks.

This picture is deceiving... look below to see what the color looks like on.

LIP GLOSS
I have two lip glosses of the moment. * Both can be purchased at Sephora *

1. NARS IN STRIP TEASE

2. SMASHBOX O-GLOSS
I love this lip gloss because it is smart. What do I mean by that? It detects the color of your lips and changes to a certain shade of pink that is perfect for your natural lip color. Highly recommend this product.

FACE MAKEUP
Let me first say, I am a huge believer in sunscreen in foundation. Although it is not 100% coverage, it is better than nothing. Both listed products are by VICHY... I love this brand. Very very effective, beautiful results. Although it is a little pricey.
Point blank, the best foundation I have ever come across in my life. 10/10... the best.

Great for the beach.

BRONZER
Beautiful color and gives you a lot of control. I love this product. Great for the summer glow.

EYE LINER
Best eye liner I have ever used in my life. This bad boy will stay on your lids until the sun don't shine. It is perfect for the LBW (aka LITTLE BLACK WING).
Once again, Sephora.

MASCARA
In my eyes, it doesn't matter which mascara you use, rather, how you apply the mascara you have. I recommend spending AT LEAST 5 minutes applying mascara. Take your time. Right now I am using Collossal which can be found at CVS or Walgreens.

There you have it... all my dirty little secrets!

My Latest Work (Unseen Photos!)

So it's been a while since my last post! I have relocated to Boston, Mass for the Summer (MOVING IS NOT FUN)... Will be running RLR between NY and Boston all Summer, Should keep me busy!

Between now and my last post I have been crankin' out some pretty rockin shoots (If I may say so myself). Some in a boutique hotel in Miami, one on an 80 ft. yacht in Miami and another in a beautiful park.

Makeup Hair Photography Editing & Styling By Yours Truly. Which is YOUR favorite photo?

Ok I know this is out of place and I apologize but I had to share my new OBSESSION. I love love love the texture of clouds. On the plane to Miami, for three hours straight (I kid you not) I was snapping pictures of the clouds. The man next to me didn't share my creative excitement over the clouds, but he will live. Anyways, thats the story, there's my clouds. The end.

INTRODUCING MODEL ANJHA THOMAS

One of my favs of the day.

Natalie Conboy (Who actually is one of my best friends & is currently putting together a video of "behind the scenes" at a photoshoot!)

On the Yacht, This view was Killer. (so is Natalie !!)

Might be one of my fav photos... (ever).

So There You Have It. One month of my life in blogpost form. Going to be a HUGE summer for The Beauty PaRLR. Stay Tuned Everyone...

Ridiculously Good Looking

As a photographer and fashion whore, I have a deep obsession with MODELS. Love looking at them, love drooling over them, love everything about them. My friends actually make fun of how often I sit in my room on my computer... WELL LADIES, this is what I am doing.

Watching a talented & experienced model at work is fascinating, its almost like watching a dance as they pose for each incoming flash of light. I have always been obsessed with the art of beauty. These ladies might make us jealous at times, but lets give it to them... they are stunning. I have put together a small list (I say small because this is very small compared to the amount of models I follow) of models I have been eyeing recently.

My newest love....
Tereza Kacerova
I actually had the pleasure of shooting with Tereza recently, not only is she beautiful, she also has the most adorable personality. A very warm youthful girl who you just want to get to know and of course TAKE PICTURES OF. Tereza has traveled all around the globe modeling.

MY WORK OF TEREZA...

Tereza just recently shot the entire 2011 Steven Madden shoe lookbook, watch this girl everyone, she is the next  big thing.

Veronica Varekova
The first time I saw a photo of Veronica I literally was drooling. She is so beautiful.

She has been on the cover of some magazines... you might know them?
Vogue, Marie Claire, Cosmo.
She has also modeled for Victoria's Secret, Escada, Chanel, Guess, Ungaro, and Gap.

Edita Vilkeviciute
Edita is a Lithuanian model who has modeled all around the globe. She's modeled for Cavalli, Victorias Secret, Stella McCartney, Zac Posen, Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel just to name a few.

Awesome Photo.

Magdalena Frackowiak
I will simply state that I want to be this girl. She mesmerizes me.

That's Edita on the left.

I get slightly annoyed when normal humans and models don't look the same in person as they do in their photographs. Huge let down for me. She clearly detests this pet peeve.

Lydia Hearst Shaw
America has some beauties too everyone. Lydia is not only breathtakingly beautiful, she is also an actress, columnist and a prominent socialite of NYC. She has modeled for Louis Vuitton, Moschino, Prada, DKNY, and Puma. She has also been on the cover of Vogue and GQ.

On the set of one of her movies.

Twiggy inspired.

I love this old hollywood feel.

MENG
I LOVE THIS.

The last two models I am presenting to you are a given.
We all know them.
I think it is interesting to sit and look back to history to find the classics and role models for beauty and fashion... Ie. Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Twiggy. I love the idea of recognizing the classics of our day while we are still in the moment.
I believe that the next two models are hands down "classics of our decade".

Kate Moss

Gisele Bündchen

Hey now.
