The OSCARS - Best & Worst Of Makeup And Hair

Hello. Slightly Confused/dumbfounded about what I just saw on the Oscars. I am not one to be "mean", and I most certainly do not want to trash talk celebrities... I was sincerely UNDERWHELMED (to say the least) by the makeup and hair stylings I saw on the red carpet tonight.

I expect the celebs on the red carpet to GLOW and to look undeniably stunning. All I saw tonight was repeated hairstyles ... electrocution and doody buns on top of heads. Makeup was either barely there, or orange lips? Im all for the natural look but not on the red carpet for the OSCARS???

(these photos reflect my thoughts on the hair and makeup, not the dresses)
Although let me just say, some ALL of these women could use the genius styling of Ms. Alexa Winner

Best (of the worst)

Hallee Berry's makeup was my favorite of the night.

Clean. Crisp. Glowing.

Slightly Barbie-Esque but I GUESS???? clean and pretty? At least it was unique. ( I am trying here)

I loved her makeup, she took a little burnt orange shadow from fashion week and applied it to her look. Nice work gf.

Age appropriate. Beautiful hair AND makeup... Maybe a LITTLE (tiny bit) more bronzer please?

Worst

Looks like she rubbed crisco in her hair. I didn't know this lipstick color existed. Her eyes look tired.

AM I MISTAKEN OR IS HILARY SWANK NOT WEARING MAKEUP? This is not boxing practice for Million $$Baby This is THE OSCARS. Sorry that was mean.

I guess the hair is OKAY? Her eyes are dead. Lipstick is OLD.

Channeling her inner rocker chic? A sleek bun MAYBE? NO?

Electrocuted and a seriously horrible overdose of black liner?

 Electrocuted.

I have to give it to her, her body is SMOKIN... Her hair on the other hand was really weird and confusing.

I know, she is pregnant. BUT it looks like half her head is shaved and the other half has a mullet.

I guess I'll mention???
 Pretty?

 She can do no wrong.

Same old same old.

IN CONCLUSION... im yawning.

Give Me That Platinum.

I love platinum rings, platinum credit cards, and I LOVE platinum hair.
I will never have the guts to do this, but I LOVE IT.  Platinum Hair. Love it or hate it? Some girls can rock it, some definitely cannot.

Some Platinum hair over the years.

Ummm no.

I know this is a little more blond then platinum but I love it.

 Sexxxyyyy.

I was in a movie with her. (Ghost Of a Girlfriend's Past... I was an extra. Embarrassing) She was a really nice girl. I love platinum hair on her, she is beautiful.

Kate Moss rockin' sexy platinum and an amazing black wing.

Good hair color, weird/cheesy bow, good sunglasses, great lipstick.

 yeahhh yeahhh.

Babies At The Beauty PaRLR

Some of you may not know that I am the eldest of 5 children. Growing up there were always babies in my house. (plural). Therefore there were always "baby supplies" around.

Here are some products which are generally used for babies but are products I find essential for beauty.

Baby Wipes. Cheap and useful in so many ways. I will never be without my baby wipes. From time to time I will take my makeup off with them, if you get deodorant on your shirt baby wipes will take it off. (They also take out MOST stains out of your clothes). They are gentle enough for a baby yet strong enough for almost anything. If my bronzer explodes in my makeup bag I clean all my other makeup products with baby wipes ( I know this has happened to you ladies, its the WORST).
Simply an essential product to have.

I have never found another lotion which leaves my skin so soft. I love the way it smells too.

These are "baby safe" qtips. (You can get these bad boys at CVS). They have a different shaped tip so they are safe for baby's ears, but, I find the shape easier to clean up makeup mistakes or mascara dots. (When you apply your mascara and it gets messy on your top/bottom lid)
From time to time I will use baby powder after I get out of the shower on my arms & legs. Just makes them super soft, (fyi generally used for babies diapers to prevent diaper rash)

GREAT for chapped lips or just a nice, soft sheen over your lipstick.

For after you shave your legs! It will restore the moisture.
